Champion du Lys looks back on an outstanding international career. Numerous
Grand Prix victories, winner of the Hamburger Derby 2003 and many Nation Cups
impressively prove his ability and enormous willingness to perform. His lifetime
winnings amount to almost € 2 Mio. Paul Schockemöhle was able to obtain this Selle-Francais
stallion at the end of his jumping career for his breeders. Champion du Lys
first offspring have already been particularly successful in the sport, the
oldest are already winning international young horse classes. Numerous national
young horse championship competitors such as the approved Champion F.P., who
easily won the final qualification in 2005 with the score of 9.0 or Champion de
Cord prove Champion du Lys’ quality as a producer. In 2006 he produced the most
expensive PSI auction horse, Cabellero who was sold for 800,000 Euros. Champion
du Lys has valuable French sport genes – his grandsire Mexico is full brother to
the great stallion Furioso II, who has produced endless jumping and dressage
horses and has produced flourishing stallion lineages.
